As the “Hate Crime” bill makes its way through the Senate, having already passed the House, Christians and Conservatives have complained that the bill will be used to silence speech not in agreement with the Left’s “progressive” ideas. We have stated our concern that it will be used to possibly jail those who speak their mind on “controversial” subjects. We have repeatedly been told that something like that would never happen, that we have the right to say what we want and only those who actually commit crimes will be punished. They have stated that the “incite” phrase of the bill wouldn’t, even couldn’t, be used against preachers and protesters.
Well, hold on to your hats!
Wacko Keith Olbermann has already lashed out over the killing of mass murderer George Tiller. On a recent rant show of his, he unleashed on blogger Jill Stanek for her pro-life stance and speech.
The winner, Jill Stanek of the infamous WorldNetDaily, who did not get the point in the assassination of Doctor George Tiller, that you can be complicit in such a crime, even if you never met the man nor his assassin.
As you can see, already we are hearing, not only here but elsewhere in MSM land, that we on the pro-life side are to blame for the death of this killer. Nevermind that there have already been far more people from the pro-life movement who have denounced his killing than you’ll ever hear Muslims denounce the violence of terrorist killing in the name of Allah. It’s just further proof that if the “hate crime” legislation is passed, we can kiss our 1st Amendment freedoms good-bye.

In 2003, President Bush nominated Miguel Estrada to an appeals court. Immediately, Democrats threatened to fillibuster his appointment. They did this and after a long period, he withdrew his name. The GOP was to weak then to get him nominated, and they will now be too weak to stop Judge Sotomayor from being appointed to the Supreme Court.

Every time the Obamessiah speaks, with or without his teleprompter, the things he says just get wilder and wilder. He breaks promises or, worse yet, he keeps them. One thing for sure, there is never a dull moment when he opens his mouth (kinda like Bill Clinton).

After weeks of adamantly denying any knowledge of “enhanced” interrogation techniques, Nancy Pelosi has had to admit that she was told 6 years ago about the use of such methods. However, as is the Liberals modus operandi, she said it was the CIA who lied. She is still trying to desperately cling to her wacko base.
This is nothing new, though. The main mantra of the Left is that there is not such thing as personal responsibility. Don’t like the fact that sex outside marriage got you pregnant? We have abortion so there are no “affects” or consequences. After all, it wasn’t your fault. Don’t think it’s fair you didn’t study hard in school, so you can’t get a great CEO job? Don’t worry, we have welfare and a host of programs to “even” the playing field. After all, it wasn’t your fault.
Liberals love to blame someone else. It’s what they do best. They’ve gotten good at it; unions, abortion, affirmative action, busing. They just don’t like personal responsibility or consequences, so they get rid of them.
Now, as for Nancy, either she was culpable to the actions taken or she is an extremely poor leader, not following up on the information she was given. Either way, she’s got no one to blame but herself.

Recently, there has been more hatred in the media and on the net over the reigning Miss California than you could imagine. It’s not coming from women who believe that the pageants are demeaning. Nor is it coming from the right who feel they are too provocative. No, it’s coming from the Left because the winner, and representative to the Miss USA pageant, had the audacity to express herself in a manner not to the liking of the Left thought police.
Carrie Prejean was asked a question regarding same-sex marriage by homosexual hate-blogger Perez Hilton. It was a loaded question, as he knew what she would answer, given her Christian background. Once that answer was given, the rage and hate began to fly. So much for tolerance.
Today, on WorldNetDaily, Ann Coulter has written an exquisite piece on Liberals and women. It’s well worth reading. In it, she points out that all the “bubbleheaded anchorettes” in the media follow their liberal bosses as if they were part of some Taliban harem. She continues along this line, comparing the Liberals treatment of women to that of fundamental Islamists. She really seems to have hit the nail on the head.
Check it out.

Ever since the 2008 elections, liberals have been getting braver by the day. You don’t have to look to far on the net to hear and see new outrageous statements from the left. Whether it’s Obama telling a private company who they can employ or judges stating that homeschooled children should be put into public school to “challenge” their parent’s teaching, the statements just get more and more out there.

As we’re aware, there are states redefining marriage, mostly by judicial fiat. The concern of those of us on the Right is always the “full faith and credit” clause of the Constitution. This clause seems to state that a legal contract or license in one state must be recognized in all others. This seems to be true, in that, if I move to another state, my wife and I will not have to get remarried.

After years of wrong votes and embarrassing his party, one of the biggest RINOs in Congress finally gets something right; Arlen Specter will switch to the Democratic Party for the 2010 election. In his own words, the Democrat Party is more in line with his beliefs than the Republican. This would be because the Republican Part is closer to a conservative party than the Democrats will ever be.
Arlen has been a pro-choice, tax-and-spend Senator for quite some time. He has voted anti-life on many occasions and voted for the recent Stimulus debacle. He has, in fact, been the poster child for the definition of a RINO.
The funny thing is that he claims he came into office as part of the “diversity” that swept in with Reagan. That makes me wonder if he read anything Reagan believed in. Considering Reagan ushered in a revival of conservative principals, Arlen missed that one, too.
For years I was disappointed in Pennsylvania Republicans that they couldn’t put an end to Specter’s reign of liberalism. At least now he’ll help them out by getting out of the way. Of course, the funny thing will be when Democrats won’t vote for him because they won’t forgive him for his former allegiance.
So, along with many, many other true Conservatives, we say “thank you and good-bye” to Arlen.” Good riddance.

This administration is in the process of stripping rights faster and further than any administration in our history. They are violating rights by taxing specific individuals unfairly. They are pursuing legislation to limit dissenting speech. They are considering removing the protection from doctors to object to proceedures they consider immoral and against their conscience. They have stolen parental rights to protect their daughters from dangerous medicines.

Yesterday, I wrote my diatribe on the intolerance of the tolerance crowd. I have, over the years of working on a college campus with students, seen time and again the intolerance of the left. They never consider that another side exists and if anyone tries to convince them of this fact, they turn to personal attacks. They have to, because their side’s arguments quickly fail them.
Today, over at News Busters, they have a wonderful post regarding a student of a liberal Ivy League school who decided to “expose” the bias and intolerance of the religious right. He spent a semester there with an open mind and really learned a lot. He wrote a book, detailing the kind, nonjudgmental people he came into contact with during his time there. He wrote of the genuineness of the students and faculty there and even a positive assessment of his meeting with Jerry Fallwell. In other words, he learned something.
His reward from his liberal friends was intolerance and condemnation. The post gives a few “shining” examples from the Huffington Post of people attacking him. Again, they don’t attack his ideas or the conclusions he came to, but him personally. They accuse him of being weak-minded and brainwashed. They accuse him of joining a cult and crossing to the “dark side.” As usual, they are so closed minded as to ignore that the other side is populated with real people.
So, he went looking for intolerance and he found it. He just didn’t expect to find it in his liberal friends. But, you and I know, that’s the perfect place to look for it.
